*About Hanatateyama
Hanatateyama (elevation 130.6m) in Ogori City is the city's only mountain and is home to the 'Hanatateyama Kofun Group,' with approximately 300 ancient burial mounds scattered throughout. In particular, the 'Hanatateyama Anakanon Kofun' from the late 6th century is a Prefectural Designated Historic Site, known as a valuable decorated tomb with engraved patterns. There is an observation deck at the summit, and you can enjoy boating in the pond at the foot of the mountain.
You can also enjoy boating in the pond at the foot of the mountain, which becomes a famous spot for cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring.
