Over 200 junior badminton players from Japan and overseas will participate in exchange matches. The project aims to broaden their global perspectives and improve their future competitiveness.

Objectives of the Tomioka World Project:
1. To discover and nurture athletes who will follow in the footsteps of Kento Momota, Yuta Watanabe, and Arisa Higashino, who represent Fukushima on the world stage.
2. To provide junior players with international exchange opportunities to enhance their competitive level from an early age.
3. To deepen understanding of disaster recovery by showcasing the footprints of reconstruction in the area affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
