Our company has built the Reserve Service and Management System (ReSMS), which supports the recruitment and education of reserve self-defense forces (Note) nationwide, utilizing Salesforce, to improve the operational efficiency of the Ministry of Defense. Operations commenced in April 2026. This system enables the efficient and centralized management of operations related to the recruitment and education support of reserve self-defense forces, contributing to the smooth and rapid operation of the reserve self-defense force system within the Ministry of Defense.

Overview

Reserve self-defense forces are called upon during disasters or national emergencies to engage in duties such as garrison security and disaster relief as self-defense force personnel. Reserve self-defense forces are required to participate in a prescribed number of training days each year, according to their assigned job category. The challenge was that scheduling these training dates (training attendance adjustments) was done via mail and telephone, requiring a significant amount of time for recruitment personnel to handle registration and other procedures. To solve these issues, our company collaborated with the Ministry of Defense to build and introduce this system.

With this system, reserve self-defense forces can book training participation and conduct e-learning via their smartphones. Furthermore, administrators can centrally manage recruitment operations, training participation status, and education progress for reserve self-defense forces using this system. Units accepting reserve self-defense force training can also easily plan training schedules and coordinate with related departments for accommodation, significantly contributing to operational efficiency. This not only improves training efficiency but also enables timely call-up notifications for reserve self-defense forces in emergencies, contributing to rapid disaster relief and aid.

Moving forward, our company will continue to support the efficient and rapid operation of the reserve self-defense force system at the Ministry of Defense through functional improvements and operation of this system, thereby contributing to Japan's national security.
