Fuji Kanko Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. (Head Office: 3633-1 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Kazuya Shimura) will hold its annual summer vacation event, "Rhinoceros Beetle Hunt," at Fuji Subaru Land starting July 18, 2026 (Sat).

At Fuji Subaru Land's "Rhinoceros Beetle Hunt," you will catch rhinoceros beetles in a special outdoor area surrounded by forest. Rhinoceros beetles hide in various places, such as on tree trunks and behind stumps. The beetles you catch can be put in a bug cage and taken home as they are. Even if you can't catch any, you are guaranteed to take home one male and one female, so you can rest assured. Not only can you enjoy the experience, but you can also use the rhinoceros beetles you take home to raise them, observe their growth, and use them as a theme for your free study project. Free study projects can be a source of worry for both children and parents during summer vacation. By experiencing the rhinoceros beetle hunt, you can get your homework done while playing, making it a win-win situation.

[Real Shooting Game Experience Also Held During the Same Period!]

This is a real shooting event using light guns that do not use BBs, called "B2i." Since it uses infrared guns for the shooting game, there is little risk of injury, and the hits are registered by the machine. You can enjoy a safe shooting game in the great outdoors of Fuji Subaru Land. It is also recommended for those new to survival games.

Dates: Sunday, July 5, 2026 and Saturday, July 18, 2026

Location: "Multipurpose Plaza" within Fuji Subaru Land. Vehicles and barricades will be set up on the day of the event.

Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Drop-ins welcome!

Game Content

The content is designed to be easy to understand and enjoyable for first-time shooting game players. - Team Competition: Participants will take turns playing if there are many participants. - Teams will be formed with 5 to 10 players per team.

- Games will be played according to the number of participants.

What to Bring/Wear

Infrared guns used in the game will be provided on loan. If you have your own B2i or MY gun compatible with 14mm reverse thread, you are welcome to bring it. However, please store it in a gun case or bag and do not carry it exposed. ※ BBs are prohibited.

Please wear clothing suitable for physical activity.

Participation in survival game gear or cosplay is also possible. You can enter the park wearing your gear. However, as this is a theme park for children, please refrain from wearing overly revealing or extreme cosplay. Example) Top: Long-sleeved T-shirt, sweatshirt, hoodie, etc. Bottom: Jeans, cargo pants, chinos, etc. Shoes: Sneakers, trekking shoes, or other non-slip footwear.

Age Restrictions

Participation in the game is for ages 10 and up. However, children under 10 may participate with a guardian if the guardian and staff determine that the child understands the game rules and can participate. If participating in the game is difficult, a simple target shooting game will be held free of charge, so please consult with the staff.

Fuji Subaru Land is a family-oriented theme park surrounded by nature, located just before the Fuji Subaru Line toll gate.
