Fuji Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Hitohiko Nakamura), a provider of meal services to medical institutions, nursing and welfare facilities, schools, and corporate cafeterias across Japan, jointly operated a booth aimed at 'promoting health awareness' with the Kanto Gakuin University Certified Nutrition Care Station at the 'Sōzō Festival,' the university's annual campus festival held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Kanto Gakuin University campus in Kanazawa Hakkei, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Since last year, the Kanto Gakuin University Certified Nutrition Care Station and Fuji Sangyo have been collaborating regularly to support community health initiatives. By combining the university’s academic expertise with the company’s practical experience, they have been creating accessible opportunities for the public to learn about nutrition, health, and disaster preparedness through joint booth exhibitions at the Sōzō Festival and special lectures.

On the day of the festival, various health assessments were conducted, including bone density measurement, skin age analysis, nutritional consultations by registered dietitians, body composition analysis, anemia screening, and reflex testing. These services enabled visitors to visualize their physical condition from multiple perspectives, encouraging reflection on personal health and dietary habits.

Visitors shared positive feedback, such as: 'This was a great opportunity to reconsider my daily eating habits,' 'I’ll try to eat school meals without picky eating from now on,' and 'It was helpful to understand my current physical condition.'

Moving forward, Fuji Sangyo will continue to contribute to community health by leveraging its expertise in food and nutrition through industry-academia collaboration.
