Leveraging the strengths of distance learning high schools, where students can learn professional skills while flexibly managing their time, our schools have continued this contest since 2015. The cumulative total number of entries over the past 11 times is 1,849. In this rapidly changing era, we strongly support the development of next-generation talent who will lead the future of Japan's creative industry by providing opportunities to encounter professional perspectives from an early age. This year's theme is "Hyunyan and Friends." Hyunyan, who serves as the Public Relations Manager at our schools, recently developed a "dream." That dream is to meet dear "friends" with whom Hyunyan can spend time after school in the schoolyard or at fun school events. Therefore, for this illustration contest, we are seeking characters who will become Hyunyan's new friends! Submitted works will be strictly judged by instructors and staff from our Manga and Illustration department from a professional perspective, and the "Grand Prize," "Promising Newcomer Award," and "Honorable Mention" will be decided.
