Suzuka Kyo-ei Gakuen, which operates Suzuka High School and Suzuka Junior High School, has signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with the Waseda University Research Organization concerning the promotion of "regional inquiry learning." Moving forward, Suzuka High School and Suzuka Junior High School will collaborate with the Waseda University Institute for the Creation of Democracy, part of the Research Organization, to research and develop "regional inquiry learning" as follows.
Professor Airo Hino of the Waseda University Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Director of the Waseda University Institute for the Creation of Democracy, and many Waseda students will visit the school to provide comments on students' research into regional issues and their proposals for the future, and to support group work.

3. Content of this Agreement
This agreement will proceed based on the following main contents:
(1) Joint research and commissioned research on the development of next-generation problem-solving skills through regional inquiry activities.
(2) Human exchange concerning the verification of the educational effects of regional inquiry learning.
(3) Other activities related to the practical approach of regional inquiry learning.
4. Specific Educational Activities Based on this Agreement
The program content will involve workshops of a "social implementation type" that explore effective solutions to social issues, aiming to produce concrete outcomes such as proposals to local government and the creation of media reports. Furthermore, by setting pre- and post-assignments, we plan to provide support for students to articulate their "aspirations" for their future career choices.
