Former 'ASTRO' Member ROCKY to Directly Instruct Japanese Students as a K-POP Director! Commemorative Lesson for the Opening of '4-Year K-POP Major'

Tokyo School of Music & Dance (TSM) and Tokyo Dance, Actor & Stage Arts College (DA TOKYO), operated by the Jikei Gakuen school corporation, will invite ROCKY, a former member of 'ASTRO' and current general director of the global K-POP talent development platform 'Stage OnK,' as a special instructor for a two-day event on Saturday, May 23rd, and Sunday, May 24th, 2026. This event commemorates the launch of the new '4-Year K-POP Dance Study Abroad Major' this spring. It is a special program that embodies the schools' practical educational policy of 'experiencing world-class levels while in Japan.'

The '4-Year K-POP Dance Study Abroad Major,' which our schools launched this April as the first of its kind in a Japanese vocational school, has its greatest strength in allowing students to build an overwhelming foundation in language and performance within Japan before their long-term study abroad in Korea.

This special lesson by ROCKY truly embodies the educational concept of this major: 'touching the pinnacle of global standards while in Japan.' By experiencing the performance of a top artist active on the front lines of the K-POP scene up close, students will intensely internalize the 'professional standard' they should aim for, dramatically boosting their motivation for future studies and study abroad.
