'Tenmaku no Jaadugar,' serialized in 'Souffle' by Akita Shoten, is a harem story set in 13th-century Mongolia. It won first place in the 'Women's' category of the 'This Manga is Amazing! 2023' by Takarajimasha and has been ranked in the 'Manga Award' for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024. It recently won the grand prize in the comic division of the 55th Japan Cartoonists Association Awards, making it a highly acclaimed historical manga. The animation is produced by Science SARU, known for its overwhelming quality in works such as 'Dandadan,' 'The Tale of the Heike,' and 'Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro!' and highly evaluated worldwide.

The TV anime 'Tenmaku no Jaadugar' will air with a special two-episode premiere on Saturday, July 4, at 11:00 PM.

As the broadcast of this work approaches, it has been decided that Tamawashi, an active sekitori from the Katanohama stable, and Tama Shoho, also an active sekitori, will appear in the anime!

Tamawashi will play the role of Genghis Khan, who built the Mongol Empire, and Tama Shoho will play the role of a sturdy Mongol soldier. Both sekitori, being of Mongolian descent, also play other characters, so please look forward to the broadcast start.

For their first time doing voice acting, Tamawashi said, 'It was difficult at first, but I gradually got used to it and think it was good until the end,' showing a sense of accomplishment. Tama Shoho, who loves anime, said, 'I had always wanted to try something like this, but I couldn't do it well at all, which shows how difficult it is. It was really fun and a great experience.' When asked about their feelings when they received the offer to appear, Tamawashi said, 'At first, I wondered what kind of role it would be, but I was happy to receive the offer,' reflecting on their feelings at the time. Tama Shoho also said, 'I have always loved anime and manga, so I was very happy from the start and became interested.'
