[Paper Summit 2026] Printing Company x Creator Collaboration Event to be Held on May 30, 2026

The Osaka Printing Industry Association (Takamoto Takahiko, Chairman; Miyakojima-ku, Osaka) will hold "Paper Summit 2026," a celebration of paper and printing, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00 at Exhibition Hall B, 2F of the Tenmabashi OMM Building.

◆ About Paper Summit
"Paper Summit," now in its 5th year, is an event designed to widely promote the possibilities of printing. It aims to convey the charm and enjoyment of "paper (printing)" to people both inside and outside the printing industry, providing new discoveries and experiences.

Since its first event in 2022, the scale and attendance have increased annually. Last year's 4th event attracted 2,100 visitors, and the special talk event with the editor-in-chief of "Design no Hikidashi," Tsuda, filled all 100 seats.

This year, held for the first time in May and moved to the OMM Building, a large number of attendees are expected.

This year, there will be creator booths in addition to printing company booths! There will be 48 booths featuring 37 printing companies and 11 creators. Furthermore, 21 creators participated in the development of collaboration products! Many printing companies and creators will enliven the Paper Summit again this year.

◆ 50 Collaboration Products Announced!
The centerpiece of the Paper Summit is the collaboration products between printing companies and creators! 50 works will be featured this year!

◆ New "Festival (En-nichi)" Section
This year, a "festival (En-nichi)" area will appear, enjoyable for both adults and children! Spending over 500 yen at stalls within the Paper Summit grants a "festival experience ticket," which can be used to enjoy one activity. The four festival activities are: target shooting, wind chime making, paper sumo, and postcard printing.

◆ Collaboration with "NANIWA PEN SHOW"
This will be the first Paper Summit at the Tenmabashi OMM Hall, and it will be held on the same day and adjacent to the pen festival, "NANIWA PEN SHOW!" As a collaboration, we developed "Paperback Notebooks." These notebooks, inspired by Western books, are meticulously crafted in design, printing, and binding. They use paper that prevents fountain pen ink bleed-through, catering to NANIWA PEN SHOW visitors. There are 15 cover designs.

◆ Classic Popular Events
・Paper Stuffing: Contributing to SDG goal 12, "Responsible Consumption and Production."
・Lucky Bags: Limited quantity bags filled with printing paper and original products.
・Workshops: Experience printing technologies like screen printing.
・Stamp Rally: A stamp rally where a "Paper Rabbit" design is completed by pressing CMYK plates in order.
