Construction Starts on Large Multi-Tenant Logistics Facility 'DPL Sendai Nagamachi II'

Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. announced the start of construction on 'DPL Sendai Nagamachi II', a five-story multi-tenant logistics facility in Taihaku Ward, Sendai City, on May 7, 2026. Built on the former site of TOKIN's Sendai Plant, the facility will have a total floor area of approximately 136,466 square meters. It features a double rampway for efficient traffic flow, a seismic isolation system, and lithium-ion batteries for disaster preparedness. Aiming for environmental sustainability, it includes a 1,999kW solar power system and targets Nearly ZEB certification. Completion is scheduled for November 2028.
