Happening again this year! "The 76th Fussa Tanabata Festival," a star festival where good fortune is born.
When you think of summer events in Fussa, it's the "Fussa Tanabata Festival." This year, it will be held from August 7 (Fri) to 9 (Sun), with various events and plans scheduled.
The Fussa City Tourism Association is planning to sell original plush toys of Fussa City's official character "Takke-☆." They are available for purchase at the Fussa City Tourist Information Center "Kurumiru Fussa," so please stop by and purchase one. For more details, please visit the website.

Musashino City's souvenir brand "Musashino Premium" is now accepting applications for 2026 certified products!
The Musashino City Tourism Organization is now accepting applications for 2026 certified products for "Musashino Premium," a souvenir brand from Musashino City. Musashino Premium certifies excellent products that embody the charm of Musashino City and promotes them both within and outside the city as a regional brand.
Certified products will be featured in official catalogs, on the website, and on social media, and will receive benefits such as a certificate of recognition.
The application period is from June 25, 2026 (Thu) to September 9, 2026 (Wed). There is no fee for application or screening.

Volunteers wanted for pruning hydrangeas at Kodaira Ajisai Park!
Kodaira City Ajisai Park, located along the Sayama-Sakai Green Road, is planted with approximately 1,500 hydrangeas of about 50 varieties and reaches its peak bloom in June each year.
We are looking for volunteers to participate in a hydrangea pruning event, which is essential for hydrangeas to bloom beautifully every year.
Experienced volunteers will provide pruning guidance.
Beginners and those who can only participate for one day are also welcome.
Pruned hydrangeas can be taken home for dried flower arrangements.
Participants from outside the city are also very welcome.
We have received feedback from participants such as, "I participate every year because I can take home the pruned hydrangeas to make dried flowers or wreaths," and "Pruning flowers is a great stress reliever and I enjoy participating."

Tachikawa's summer shines brighter with the "Tachikawa Festival National Government Park Showa Kinen Park Fireworks Festival"!
The "Tachikawa Festival National Government Park Showa Kinen Park Fireworks Festival," which has continued for over 60 years since the "1st Tachikawa Noryo Fireworks Festival" held on the banks of the Tamagawa River near Hinobashi Bridge in 1954 (Showa 29), will be held on July 25, 2026 (Sat).
A total of 5,000 fireworks are scheduled to be launched. The event features a spectacular display that will keep spectators captivated from start to finish, including large-caliber fireworks such as shakudama and isshun-go-sun-dama, which are rarely seen in Tokyo, as well as starmines and Geikyo-dama, award-winning fireworks from competitions.
The main viewing area, "Minna no Ohara" in the National Government Park Showa Kinen Park, is a vast lawn area with an open atmosphere where you can relax with a picnic sheet.
Furthermore, the operational method for the National Government Park Showa Kinen Park, which will be the venue this time, will change significantly.
The area around "Minna no Ohara," the main viewing area, will be designated as a paid area, and an "Fireworks Viewing Area Ticket" will need to be purchased and issued in advance for admission.
