【Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture】GREEN FLASH Fes 2026: Takanori Nishikawa's Appearance and Timetable Confirmed!

The performing artists for "GREEN FLASH Fes 2026," Fukui Prefecture's largest resort-style music festival, to be held at Shibamasa World on Saturday, May 30, 2026, have been announced.

This music event, set against the backdrop of the Sea of Japan and the sunset, is celebrating its 4th year with the concept of "a music festival everyone can casually enjoy."

We are pleased to announce that following Koda Kumi's withdrawal, Takanori Nishikawa's appearance and the timetable have been confirmed.

Green Flash

A phenomenon where the upper rim of the sun appears green at sunrise or sunset. Also known as green ray or green flash. (Refer to Kojien dictionary)

The festival was named with the desire for it to be a festival that promotes the sunset over the Sea of Japan (Green Flash) and the "dazzling green" lawn of Shibamasa World. It is said that good fortune will visit those who witness the Green Flash, which can only be seen under specific conditions. It has been witnessed many times in Sakai City, and you might even see it on the day of the festival.
