## Announcement: Establishment of Regional Innovation Nexus, inc. (REINNO)

Regional Innovation Nexus, inc. (Headquarters: Suginami-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shota Ishikawa; Abbreviation: REINNO) is pleased to announce its establishment on March 8, 2026.

Our company was newly incorporated to take over the business operations of the Regional Strategy Division of EDOA Co., Ltd., which began in 2020. With this establishment, we will further accelerate our 'Region x Innovation' initiatives, which have been built up starting from Niigata, under a new organizational structure.

### Background of Establishment

The predecessor, EDOA Co., Ltd.'s Regional Strategy Division, established its base in October 2020 within 'NINNO,' Niigata's largest innovation facility, following an invitation from Niigata Prefecture and Niigata City. Over the past five years, we have worked with local governments, financial institutions, universities, and regional companies on DX promotion, entrepreneurship education, open innovation, and support for new business creation.

As EDOA joins a listed company group, we have decided to transition the 'Region x Innovation' business into an independent corporation. This move aims for more agile and long-term co-creation deeply rooted in regional communities.

### Our Vision

'Does regional innovation require a new type of infrastructure?'

Regions are supported by industry, government, academia, and finance—entities that have functioned as infrastructure for the local future over many years. REINNO aims to stand beside them and become a part of redesigning 'Region x Innovation' for a new era.
