Sakura Midori Office (Location: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; Representative: Midori Sakura), which provides harassment prevention training, communication training for managers, external consultation services, and counseling, will speak at two seminars/workshops on Wednesday, June 3, at 'Kyushu Innovation WEEK,' held at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A on June 3 (Wed) and 4 (Thu), 2026.
In recent years, while corporate awareness of harassment prevention has increased, many managers in the field feel that 'necessary guidance might be perceived as harassment' or that 'it is difficult to interact with subordinates.'
Beyond typical harassment such as violence or verbal abuse, issues surrounding workplace relationships are becoming more complex, including differences in how guidance is perceived, cornering subordinates with 'logical' arguments, excessive harassment claims from subordinates, and reverse power harassment.
In these sessions, we will conduct two courses themed on how managers can provide necessary guidance without hesitation while simultaneously valuing the dignity and growth potential of their subordinates.
Seminar ①: Preventing Managerial Atrophy and Regaining Guidance Power! Communication for Staff Development in the Era of Harassment 2.0® Date: Wednesday, June 3, 2026, 13:30–14:15 In this seminar, we will examine the line between guidance and inappropriate conduct by looking at actual court cases where damages against companies were or were not recognized. We will also explain, from the perspective of a harassment prevention consultant, how to interact without deepening conflicts and the perspectives necessary for managers to regain their guidance power.
Workshop ②: Techniques to Nurture Subordinates' Self-Image and Elicit Proactivity: How Supervisors Can Enhance Resilience Date: Wednesday, June 3, 2026, 15:00–16:30 'Their expression clouds over even with a light correction,' 'They wait for instructions for fear of failure,' 'They hoard work.' Behind these scenes lies the subordinate's resilience—their mental flexibility to recover when facing difficulties—or fluctuations in their self-image. In this workshop, we will consider how a supervisor's involvement affects a subordinate's proactivity while focusing on the subordinate's emotional movements and self-image. We will learn practically through dialogue among participants about what kind of encouragement and involvement supervisors can provide to create a state where subordinates can challenge themselves with peace of mind.
