Wakayama Prefecture will host the "10 Billion Yen Company Creation Symposium in Wakayama" on Monday, May 25, 2026, targeting SME managers aiming for 10 billion yen in sales. Participation is free, and registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The application deadline is Friday, May 22.

What is the "10 Billion Yen Declaration"?

The "10 Billion Yen Declaration" is a pledge by SMEs with sales of 1 billion yen or more and less than 10 billion yen to set an ambitious goal of "10 billion yen in sales" and undertake initiatives to achieve it. Companies that make this declaration can utilize subsidies and tax incentives promoted by the national government.

Appointed as the third-generation president in 2010. As a comprehensive manufacturer of metal plastic forming headquartered in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, the company specializes in "One-Stop Service Plus+" covering everything from design and prototyping to sheet metal, pipe, press processing, assembly, transportation, and installation, and is widely deployed in automotive and industrial equipment. It also contributes to the environmental field through the manufacturing and sales of self-developed electrolytic water cleaning devices and has recently focused on battery and hydrogen-related businesses. It continues to grow in collaboration with affiliated companies in China, Thailand, and Japan.

Mr. Soichiro Kawai (Representative Director, ReBoost Co., Ltd.)

After working at a prime market printing machine manufacturer and Recruit Group, he experienced the start-up phase of BizReach Co., Ltd. After that, he joined Raksul Co., Ltd. as a founding member after working for several other companies. He was extensively involved in company creation, including formulating/executing recruitment strategies (including executive candidates), establishing HR evaluation systems, recruitment PR, and initiatives to instill corporate philosophy. In 2017, he founded ReBoost Co., Ltd. With the theme of "Organizational Development to Accelerate Business Growth," he provides consulting to over 100 rapidly growing startups and a wide range of companies, both in metropolitan areas and regionally, on HR strategies and implementation support. He also supports all aspects of HR through angel investments in approximately 40 companies both domestically and internationally, and partnerships with VCs.
