The Nachi-Katsuura Tourism Organization (Location: Nachi-Katsuura Town, Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, hereinafter referred to as "Nachi-Katsuura Tourism Organization") will hold a special event "HANABI CRUISE NACHI-KATSUURA -- A Fireworks Viewing Cruise Enjoyed from the Sea, Touring the Pacific Ocean --" on August 11, 2026, to coincide with the fireworks festival held in Nachi-Katsuura Town. This event will allow participants to view the fireworks from a ship on the Pacific Ocean.
On the day of the event, the cruise will depart from the Nachi-Katsuura Town Tourist Pier, offering a leisurely journey across the Pacific Ocean while viewing the islands of Kii-no-Matsushima. At the climax, participants can enjoy the fireworks that vividly color the night sky and sea surface from the ship off Nachi Bay. Participation applications will be accepted starting at 9:00 AM on July 1st via the Nachi-Katsuura Tourism Organization's official website and social media.

Itinerary and Route Depart from the Nachi-Katsuura Town Tourist Pier aboard the Kii-no-Matsushima sightseeing boat, heading towards Nachi Bay. Cruise the Pacific Ocean while viewing the islands of Kii-no-Matsushima and watch the Nachi-Katsuura Town Fireworks Festival from the sea.

*Cancellations made on or after July 21, 2026 (Tuesday) will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the participation fee. Please understand this in advance. *The cruise may be canceled or suspended due to weather, sea conditions, or other unavoidable circumstances. *Even if the fireworks festival is held as scheduled, the cruise may be canceled due to sea conditions. *The cruise content may change due to changes or cancellations in the fireworks festival program. *In the event of cancellation due to weather, sea conditions, or other unavoidable circumstances, the full participation fee will be refunded. *Food and drinks are allowed to be brought aboard. Please note that no food or drinks will be sold on board.
