Arita Mandarin Juice Fair Held in Nagoya for One Day Only on June 27

The Hometown Creation Office of Arida City, Wakayama Prefecture, will hold an event titled "Wakayama Prefecture Arida City Gyugyutto! Certified Mandarin Juice Fair" to promote the appeal of "Arita City Certified Mandarin Juice," made with 100% Arita mandarins, a specialty of Arida City. The event will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Zenkoku Center Plaza on the 5th floor of the Chunichi Building in Nagoya.

On the day, in addition to a one-day tasting and sales event, we will offer a variety of content including a lottery, a quiz contest, and a mini-game corner for families, all aimed at sharing the deliciousness of Arita mandarin juice and the appeal of hometown tax donations.

Last year's PR event was well-received by many visitors, and this year we will continue to hold the fair with the aim of improving brand strength and expanding sales channels. Through promoting the charm of Arita City Certified Mandarin Juice, we aim to stimulate interest in hometown tax donations and winter fruit mandarin purchases.

Arida City in Wakayama Prefecture is known as one of Japan's leading mandarin-producing regions, with high-quality "Arita mandarins" cultivated in a warm climate and terraced fields, earning nationwide recognition. To improve the brand strength and expand sales channels for these specialty products, Arida City is conducting PR activities in various locations including the Tokyo and Nagoya metropolitan areas.

Last year, the "Arita City Certified Mandarin Juice PR Event" held at the Chunichi Building was well-received for the taste of the 100% straight juice, allowing many visitors to experience the appeal of Arita mandarins. Based on these results, we will hold a tasting and sales event at the Chunichi Building again this year.

What is Arita City Certified Mandarin Juice?

"Arita City Certified Mandarin Juice" is a select 100% straight juice made solely from Arita mandarins harvested within Arida City and certified under strict municipal standards.

- Sensory evaluation by food professionals: The "Sensory Evaluation Committee" comprehensively evaluates sweetness, acidity, aroma, etc. Only products that pass are certified as "Arita QUALITY."

At this event, certified vendors will set up booths to offer tastings and sales while directly sharing their commitment to the region and manufacturing ingenuity.

Hands-on games for families with small children.

- "Mandarin Stone Step Puzzle Game" - Play a puzzle inspired by the terraced fields of Arida and experience the landscape of Arita mandarin production.

These family-oriented activities allow participants to learn about the region and characteristics of Arita mandarins while having fun.

5) Appearance by Arida City Official Mascot "Arita-kun"
The mascot "Arita-kun" will appear at the venue on the day.

In addition to mandarin juice tasting and sales, a consultation booth for Arida City's hometown tax donations will be set up at the event.

We aim to provide an opportunity for visitors to continuously enjoy Arida City's specialty products in their daily lives.
