3rd "Nanki Beach Ultimate Tournament" to be held

~Energizing the Nanki Area with Beach Sports and SDGs~

The Wakayama Flying Disc Association (Chairman: Hiroshi Oshima), Dolphin Papa LLC (Representative: Takashi Moriwaki), and the Nanki Area Sports Training Camp Invitation Promotion Council will host the 3rd "Nanki Beach Ultimate Tournament ~Enjoy Ultimate!!~" on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Susami Beach in Susami Town, Wakayama Prefecture, as an initiative to support the Kansai Masters Games 2026.

This tournament is part of an effort to revitalize the Nanki area through beach sports, based on the "Agreement on Regional Promotion through Sports" re-signed on February 16, 2023. Through beach ultimate, which anyone can participate in regardless of age, gender, or experience, in the beautiful natural environment of the seaside, we aim to deepen understanding of "the beauty of the seashore, the blessings of nature, and culture" as advocated in the SDGs, as well as to improve recognition and promote the spread of flying disc sports in Wakayama Prefecture, and contribute to the sound development of the physical and mental well-being of the prefectural residents.

The Wakayama Flying Disc Association has continuously engaged in initiatives contributing to the achievement of SDGs (3, 4, 5, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16) by collaborating with organizations inside and outside the prefecture to "create tournaments where anyone can easily participate," "practice fair play through a self-judging system," "create opportunities for mixed-gender and mixed-generation play," and "disc recycling and beach clean-up activities." In this tournament, we will also promote sustainable tournament management, including clean-up activities integrated with the competition, and the collection and recycling of unwanted discs.

Therefore, we would like to announce the tournament outline and participant recruitment guidelines as follows.
