RK LLC will host "Entertainment Backstage Lounge & Night #5," an exchange event for entertainment industry backstages, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Rhythm Canvas in Suehirocho (Sotokanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).
Production, operations, distribution, video, management, publishing, PR, design, filming, casting—the entertainment industry is driven by many backstage professionals who don't appear in the spotlight. However, horizontal connections where people can casually consult each other beyond company or project boundaries are surprisingly scarce. This event is a place to build those "horizontal" connections.
Features of this Event
Companies that would normally be competitors gather in the same space. Recently, participation from "insiders" such as VTubers and MCs (comedians) has also increased, making it commonplace to see backstage staff and performers talking at the same table. This cross-industry interaction, transcending genres and positions, sparks unexpected collaborations and joint ventures.

What Will Happen on the Day
1 Entrance: Become "approachable" in 15 seconds
Immediately after the start, all participants will give a 15-second self-introduction. What you do and what you're involved in will be shared in one round, allowing conversations to start with phrases like, "You mentioned XX earlier, right?"
2 Networking: If you're unsure, head to the reception. We'll introduce people based on compatibility
"I don't know who to talk to"—this is the biggest hurdle at networking events. If you feel this way, simply tell the reception concierge your needs. They will match you with someone who seems compatible. This way, even if you don't know anyone or are attending alone, you won't feel out of place. In fact, most participants attend alone.

Every time I write a press release, I think to myself, "I'm writing about the same thing again..."

As I watched the number of entries increase with each event, I realized there was something I wanted to convey before just reporting facts.
Recently, "insiders" like VTubers and MCs (comedians) have started attending. What was supposed to be a backstage event has, before we knew it, become a place where performers and backstage staff talk at the same table. This unexpected mix is probably the most interesting aspect of this event.
I won't change the event's name, "Entertainment Backstage Lounge." Because I believe players also have a lot of backstage-like work...
