Open Design LLC has launched 'OWM (Open Wardrobe Market)', a generative AI app that enables anyone to create and publish fashion designs based on photos or words they like.

Has anyone not once thought, 'I wish there was a piece of clothing like this'? OWM is an app that allows users to turn their inner desires—such as 'I want to wear something like this' or 'I want to express my own worldview'—into fashion designs, even without professional design skills.

Created designs can be worn by an AI avatar called 'Echo,' which reflects the user's preferences and design history, allowing users to expand their creative expression through curated outfit collections or videos. Designs can be published and shared, and users can receive reactions and empathy from others via 'VIBE,' a reaction button feature.

Alongside this consumer-focused app service, a corporate version is scheduled to launch in July.

Fashion has traditionally been enjoyed by selecting, purchasing, and wearing clothes created by others. However, with the rise of social media, gaming, and virtual spaces, fashion expression has begun to extend beyond physical clothing to include social media visuals, avatar outfits, and virtual styling.

On the other hand, turning one's internal imagery into fashion designs and sharing them as creative works has not been easy without specialized knowledge or technical skills. OWM leverages generative AI to allow anyone to express their sensibilities as fashion designs—not just for self-expression, but as a gateway to new connections and opportunities.

OWM is an app that generates fashion design images based on photos taken or saved on a smartphone, or text prompts.

Even without professional skills or experience, users can materialize their sensibilities into fashion designs. The generative AI, specifically designed for fashion expression, intuitively transforms users' imagery and worldviews into design outputs.

Created designs can be published and shared within the app, allowing users to receive feedback and evaluations. Additionally, users can style their AI avatar Echo, create outfit collections, or produce videos, further expanding their creative expression.

In the future, exclusive in-app events and contests will be held. Being selected could lead to connections with brands or planners, design acquisitions, or paid opportunities.

There are six ways to generate designs in the app. Additionally, the 'REFINE' feature allows users to further adjust and refine their preferred design directions.

・SNAP: The photo you take becomes the design. The easiest method.

・FUSION: Combine a photographed scene with a saved image.

・EDITORIAL: Describe your design concept in text.

・COMPOSER: Select words that match your desired color, material, motif, and silhouette.

・REMIX: Start from a previously created design and edit it into a different style.

・COLLAB: Co-create using a design published by a creator you mutually follow.

Three pricing plans are available: Free, Basic, and Pro. Basic costs ¥1,200 per month, and Pro costs ¥2,500 per month. Both are tax-included and available via in-app purchases.
