TVer Launches 'Nationwide Local TV Stations: Japan's Local Stories Collected'

LCB LLC will launch 'Nationwide Local TV Stations: Japan's Local Stories Collected' on TVer (TVer), the official commercial broadcaster streaming service, starting Friday, July 3, 2026.

Information programs produced by local TV stations across Japan are filled with unique regional content—such as gourmet food and tourist attractions—that can only be experienced locally. Local broadcasters from Hokkaido to Okinawa, united by the desire to share their regional charm beyond their broadcast areas and help more people discover the appeal of their communities, have come together across regions and networks to deliver content packed with local charm via TVer.

For example, content will be organized by region based on weekly rotating themes—such as 'ramen' in 'Hokkaido' or 'Tohoku.' Users interested in specific themes or regions can enjoy the content through the 'Nationwide Local TV Stations: Street News Special' and the 'Local Special Features' sections. Don’t miss it.
