"Omobase," a practical community operated by G.K. banca (Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, Representative: Shuhei Maruyama), has concluded a cultural partner agreement with Fukur Co., Ltd. (Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, Representative Director: Hideki Fukuzaki).
This agreement aims to increase the number of members who continue to challenge themselves based on their interests, thereby creating a vibrant Toyama. Fukur Co., Ltd. will support community operations as an "Omobase Cultural Partner" and participate in fostering a culture that encourages young people's challenges.
[Background and Purpose of the Agreement]
Omobase, which began operations in 2023, has approximately 30 young members, primarily under the age of 35. Members are responsible for everything from planning to executing projects based on their own interests, continuing to challenge themselves while inspiring each other.
To continuously foster these activities, we believe it is important to create an environment that includes:
・Increasing opportunities to meet diverse people
・Increasing the number of people accustomed to supporting others
・Distributing the burden of supporting challenges across the entire community
Therefore, Omobase has newly launched the "Omobase Cultural Partner" system as a mechanism for local companies and adults to get involved in the community as "cultural supporters."
This time, Fukur Co., Ltd. resonated with Omobase's philosophy and decided to participate as a cultural partner in this system.
This agreement aims to increase the number of young people in the region who take on challenges based on their interests, thereby generating new vitality in Toyama.
[Details of the Omobase Cultural Partner Program]
Fukur Co., Ltd. will support the community's activities as an "Omobase Cultural Partner."
Specifically, the following initiatives will be undertaken:
・Financial support for community operations
・Participation in Omobase events
・Installation of promotional materials within Omobase facilities
The promotional materials will introduce Fukur Co., Ltd. as a cultural supporter of Omobase, encouraging members in their challenges.
Furthermore, a key feature of this initiative is that companies will not act as "providers of correct answers" to young people, but rather as supporters of a culture that encourages challenges.
[Regarding the Conclusion of This Agreement]
Comment from Shuhei Maruyama, G.K. banca
In an era where it's possible to earn a living from work one enjoys and is interested in, the importance of enthusiastically and passionately taking on challenges is growing. I believe that continuously challenging oneself beyond past limits, starting from one's own interests, is a way to cultivate the ability to contribute to society while fulfilling oneself. I hope to see an increase in such challengers in Toyama, leading to the revitalization of Toyama Prefecture as a whole. We will move forward, starting with this agreement with Fukur Co., Ltd.
Comment from Hideki Fukuzaki, Representative Director, Fukur Co., Ltd.
I believe that the desire to make someone happy and the playfulness of wanting to create something interesting attract people and opportunities, helping one grow. Please use KOTELO and try various challenges.
