This past year, we have proposed a new option: "A stretch mat that blends into your lifestyle even when left out." Through features in lifestyle magazines, participation in events, and expansion into Asian markets like Taiwan, opportunities to resonate with our brand's vision have gradually grown.

This release looks back on the first 365 days since the brand's inception and introduces the form of self-care that 8ed Studio aims for going forward.

A Year of Proposing the Option to "Leave it Out and Blend into Your Lifestyle"

At the time of the brand's launch, stretch mats were generally perceived as items to be taken out only for exercise and stored away afterward.

8ed Studio, with the idea that "by being able to naturally place it within the living space, self-care can become a more everyday habit," has developed and proposed stretch mats that balance design and functionality.

To create an environment where the mat harmonizes with the space even when laid out in a room, allowing you to move your body the moment you feel like it.

This has been the consistent brand concept communicated by 8ed Studio.

As a result, over the past year, we've increasingly seen signs of change.

Products Grown Alongside the Brand

While the product lineup started with 10 designs at the brand's launch, it has expanded to 16 designs over the past year.

In December 2025, two more designs based on monotone colors will be added, followed by four more designs in April 2026.

In line with the diversification of interiors and lifestyles, the collection has grown to better accommodate a wider range of living situations.

Furthermore, in response to customer requests for "larger sizes," a wide size of 80cm width was launched in January 2026, in addition to the conventional 61cm width.

This marks the first time the brand has introduced new size variations based on customer feedback.

In addition, as an initiative that goes beyond simply delivering products, we launched our official YouTube channel in December 2025.

We have also started distributing content to help people continue stretching and self-care as a habit, advancing brand building from both "product" and "experience" perspectives.

Additionally, at the "Well Be Pop" event hosted by Yomiuri Television in Osaka in March 2026, we provided opportunities for people to experience the comfort and harmony with space that cannot be conveyed online, through our stretch program cooperation and product displays.

Resonance Spreading from Japan to Overseas

Resonance with the brand has gradually spread beyond Japan, primarily within Asia, and approximately 20% of our purchases now come from overseas.

Even without a physical store presence, customers learn about the brand through social media and word-of-mouth, making Taiwan and other Asian regions important overseas markets for 8ed Studio.

Through encounters with many customers, we realize that the desire to "continue self-care naturally in daily life" is common, regardless of country or culture.

We will continue to carefully communicate our brand concept both domestically and internationally, while also working to create new points of contact with communities.

Over the past year, our Instagram followers have grown into a community of over 19,000 people.

However, what we value most is the connection with those who resonate with the brand's philosophy and engage with us continuously, which we feel is more significant than the numbers.
