Orgel LLC (hereinafter 'Orgel'), TST Entertainment Inc., and Springfield Co., Ltd. will produce the 'Fifth Kamiyacho Kokabuki,' scheduled for Spring 2027 at 'THEATER MILANO-Za' on the 6th floor of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, a sacred place for entertainment in Shinjuku where many acclaimed works have been staged.

'Kamiyacho Kokabuki,' whose fourth performance (until May 3rd at Asakusa Public Hall) is currently being well-received, is an independent performance by the Narikomaya Kamiyacho Ichimon that has garnered increasing attention since its first staging in June 2023. The upcoming year 2027 will mark its fifth iteration.

Driven by the desire to 'make the appeal of kabuki easy to understand' and 'convey the splendor of classical arts ourselves,' this performance has made steady progress. This upcoming performance will be staged at 'THEATER MILANO-Za' on the 6th floor of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower to deliver the charm of kabuki to an even broader audience.

Kamiyacho Kokabuki plans for a record 10 performances, aiming for an enhanced stage experience that can be enjoyed by previous Kamiyacho Kokabuki attendees, traditional Kabuki fans, first-time Kabuki viewers, and even inbound tourists from overseas.

Furthermore, official YouTube and TikTok channels were launched today. It has been decided that a large-scale documentary project will be distributed until May 2027, when the fifth performance opens.

This documentary project, also produced by Orgel, will deliver a realistic portrayal over approximately one year, showing behind-the-scenes glimpses of rehearsals, production sites, and the passion of the Narikomaya three brothers for their performances.

■ Comment from Nakamura Hashinosuke
"'Kamiyacho Kokabuki,' which we three brothers have tirelessly pursued with the desire to 'give shape to our own aspirations,' is now entering its fifth iteration and will make its debut at 'THEATER MILANO-Za,' filling us with excitement. We will diligently climb the stairs to become the 'strongest three brothers' and the 'strongest Narikomaya Kamiyacho Ichimon,' 'in the Narikomaya style,' one step at a time. Above all, we are incredibly excited!!!!"

■ Comment from Nakamura Fukunosuke
"We are very grateful to have been invited by 'THEATER MILANO-Za' to host the fifth performance, a milestone for Kamiyacho Kokabuki. We, as an entire family, will work together to present a Kamiyacho Kokabuki that is distinctly different from previous ones, so please look forward to it!"

■ Comment from Nakamura Utanosuke
"The fact that 'Kamiyacho Kokabuki,' which we three brothers started without knowing left from right, has continued to its fifth performance is thanks to everyone who supported us, the audience who came to the theater, and all of you. Also, it is a great joy and honor to be able to hold 'Kamiyacho Kokabuki' at 'THEATER MILANO-Za' in this milestone fifth year. We hope to deliver our 'passion' for kabuki, which we deeply love, to people all over the world through classical art, so that they may love it just as much."

■ What is 'Kamiyacho Kokabuki'?
Since childhood, we three brothers would imitate the roles performed by our father, Shikan, and we would create our own desired performances by conceptualizing scripts and direction from scratch, borrowing our mother's help for costumes, wigs, large stage props, small props, flyers, and posters, playing 'theater games.'

As we grew older, we eventually harbored the dream of 'wanting to perform our own genuine independent performances!'

The name 'Kamiyacho Kokabuki' is a performance title imbued with the meaning of 'Kamiyacho,' the home base of Narikomaya, and 'Kokabuki' (small kabuki), reflecting our ambition to someday ascend to Grand Kabuki. The three brothers, who love kabuki from the bottom of their hearts, face the same direction, help each other, and elevate one another. With this determination and passion always in mind, we will take on the fifth performance.
