Opinion Exchange Meeting Held with Shiga Prefecture LDP Prefectural Assembly Members

On June 1, 2026, Tomoya Sawada, Representative of Fukurou Group, held an opinion exchange meeting with the Shiga Prefecture Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Prefectural Assembly Members in his capacity as the Shiga Branch Manager of the National Association of Care Providers (Disability).
On the day, many members of the Shiga Prefecture LDP Prefectural Assembly attended, providing a valuable opportunity to directly discuss the challenges facing the industry and requests for future environmental improvements.

■ Overview of the Opinion Exchange Meeting

Many prefectural assembly members from the Shiga Prefecture LDP Prefectural Assembly attended this opinion exchange meeting. The Association of Care Providers submitted a written request in advance, and we proceeded with constructive discussions on the challenges based on the actual situation in the caregiving field and the content desired in future policies.

■ Shared Challenges and Requests

We shared issues common to elderly care and disability welfare, as well as unique challenges related to each service. The focus was particularly on [Labor shortages, Remuneration unit prices, Hilly and mountainous areas, and Tightening of regulations].
