Jumonji University (Niiza City, Saitama Prefecture, President: Kazuhisa Adachi) has launched its meal management program, the "Eating Habits Research Lab" (common name: "Tabeken"), and has begun accepting applications for its first cohort, starting on August 8, 2026 (Sat).
This project is led by Professor Daisuke Kunii (Registered Dietitian), a specially appointed professor in the Department of Food and Nutrition Sciences, Faculty of Human Life Sciences at our university, and aims to return the specialized knowledge held by the university to the local community.
Program Content
Experienced specialists will provide 3 months of support (diet, physical activity, stress management) tailored to the participant's physical condition and goals, addressing concerns such as "I want to be mindful of my diet and health, but I don't know how."
"Understand": Grasp your current health risks based on the latest health check-up results.
"Learn": Learn eating habits that reduce the burden on your body, including health foods and supplements.
"Experience": Connect learning to experience to achieve your goals and practice it in your own life.
Application Guidelines
Eligibility:
Individuals or groups, regardless of age, gender, or presence of illness, who can bring the results of their latest health check-up.
* Body composition measurements will be conducted during the orientation for all participants, taking privacy into consideration.
Content: 3 months of support tailored to your condition and preferences.
* Support includes diet, physical activity, and stress management.
Capacity: Approximately 10 people for the first cohort.

* Time slots (morning/afternoon) will be adjusted based on your preferences.
[Follow-up Session] October 31 (Sat)
Venue: Plus Lab, 2nd Floor, Building 1, our university.
Time: Approximately 60 minutes per session (reservation required) * 3-month course / 3-session program
Fee: ¥1,000 per session (tax included) (includes souvenir "Plus-chan Nuts" and various materials) * Information and follow-up sessions are free.

"Eating Habits Research Lab" aims to support the "eating power" of not only students but also the entire local community by leveraging the knowledge gained from these educational activities.
