Both companies will leverage their respective regional networks to promote access to global medical data.

Access to diverse regional and ethnic data is an indispensable element in medical AI development and clinical trial design. However, due to differences in legal regulations and business practices in each country, overseas access to medical data is not easy.

MAPI specializes in the anonymization and management of medical data, supporting both the provision and acquisition of medical data in Japan. ANA Healthcare, through its unique platform "ANA Cohort," provides services that automate the search, anonymization, and extraction of medical data from over 100 medical institutions, primarily in Europe (France, Spain, etc.) and Latin America.

The purpose of this partnership is to realize a one-stop access environment for data in regions required by clients, by leveraging the regional complementarity of both companies.

Supporting global medical data access through mutual client referrals between MAPI and ANA Healthcare

Through this partnership, MAPI will introduce clients with demand for ANA Healthcare's European and Latin American data to ANA Healthcare in the Japanese market, and ANA Healthcare will introduce clients with demand for Japanese medical data to MAPI in the European and Latin American markets.

The target data includes imaging data, primarily CT, MR, ultrasound, and X-ray, and related clinical data. Both companies will appropriately respond to clients' data needs by leveraging their expertise in regulatory compliance and data quality management in their respective regions.
