Clinic For Group, which provides both in-person and online medical consultations, began an initiative on Monday, April 13, 2026, to make follow-up consultation fees free for online consultations limited to self-pay medical services. ■ Making medical care more accessible and easier to use Clinic For values people’s health and time above all, and aims to be a clinic that is close at hand and easy to consult at any time. This initiative was launched to create an environment where people with busy work, family, and personal lives can continue treatment more easily. The initiative applies not only to continued treatment currently being used, limited to self-pay services, but also when considering another new department, also limited to self-pay services. For example, someone currently taking low-dose birth control pills will not be charged a consultation fee when first consulting about cosmetic dermatology. In self-pay medical services that address a wide range of concerns, Clinic For will continue supporting patients as an accessible primary-care doctor that stays close to each person’s diverse needs. ■ Overview of free follow-up fees For anyone who has completed a payment at least once through Clinic For’s online consultations, the follow-up fee for online self-pay consultations, normally 1,650 yen, will automatically become 0 yen. Consultation fees for insurance-covered medical care are not covered by this program and remain paid services, regardless of whether the visit is an initial or follow-up consultation. Start date: Applies to consultations from April 13, 2026. How it works: The system automatically determines past usage history. No coupon code or other entry is required. How to confirm: Eligible users will see the consultation fee displayed as 0 yen on the booking confirmation screen. ■ Eligible users Users who have completed at least one payment in the past through Clinic For’s online consultations, regardless of whether it was for self-pay or insurance-covered care. Once a user has any payment history, subsequent online self-pay consultations can be received with no consultation fee. The free fee also applies when visiting a different department from before, such as someone who previously used female AGA services and is now consulting about low-dose birth control pills for the first time. ■ Eligible departments as of May 2026 Online self-pay medical services, 21 departments in total: Low-dose birth control pills, menstrual period adjustment, cosmetic dermatology, acne treatment, female AGA, emergency contraception, male AGA, ED and premature ejaculation prevention, oral medication for influenza prevention, obesity treatment for women, obesity treatment for men, smoking cessation treatment, hyperhidrosis, sexually transmitted infection treatment, Kampo medicine, dry eye, travel medicine, hypertension, dyslipidemia or hyperlipidemia, hyperuricemia or gout attacks, snoring and sleep apnea syndrome. ■ Notes and excluded cases The following cases are not eligible for free follow-up fees. Online insurance-covered consultation fees for internal medicine, dermatology, allergy medicine, hay fever, and sublingual immunotherapy are excluded because insurance-covered care is operated under Japan’s medical fee system set by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. If there is no payment history for online consultations: users who have only visited an in-person clinic and are using online consultations for the first time will be charged a consultation fee only for the first online visit. After completing payment online, the second and subsequent visits will be free. For AGA and female AGA, if a prescription is issued, the consultation fee is free from the first visit.
