East Ekimae Clinic (East Medical Corporation), which offers nationwide AGA and ED treatments, will release its new commercial "Kaze-dori Edition" sequentially from July 1 (Wed), with the popular comedy duo Don de Corte (Ginji Watanabe, Kyosaku Kobashi) appointed as new ambassadors.

East Ekimae Clinic has always been there for men with "male-specific concerns" such as AGA and ED, providing total support for each individual to take a step forward with confidence.

We are pleased to welcome the two members of Don de Corte, a comedy duo who are currently at the height of their popularity and are immensely popular among men of the same generation, as our new ambassadors.

Their attitude of "being able to deliver realistic encouragement because we've experienced similar worries ourselves," and their powerful communication skills that inspire courage to take the next step with passionate speeches and overwhelming energy, embody our clinic's philosophy of "providing medical care that is reassuring from the patient's perspective," leading to their appointment as ambassadors.

To commemorate their appointment as ambassadors, we will release new commercials starring Don de Corte. The accompanying making-of and interview footage will include behind-the-scenes glimpses of the shoot and the duo's candid selves, as well as footage from the "Political Broadcast Edition," scheduled for release soon.

Commercial Story

The theme of this commercial is "restoring men's confidence." It unfolds in a world that combines humor and dynamism, offering courage to take a step forward with a focus on hair and male-specific concerns.

Kobashi-san is on a rooftop, hugging his knees dejectedly. Appearing before him is Ginji-san, dressed as a kaze-dori (weathercock), exuding an unusual presence with muscular arms and wings. As the kaze-dori (Ginji-san) spins at tremendous speed, creating a great storm, he passionately declares with a powerful voice, "You too can surely soar!" Kobashi-san, who was initially taken aback, brightens up as if grasping something in the strong wind, and in time with the kaze-dori (Ginji-san)'s rhythmic shouts of "Tailwind~!" and "East!", the two precisely point East. Finally, as the wind intensifies, Kobashi-san is blown away, shouting "Tailwind for men~! ... Ride the tailwind~...!", and the kaze-dori (Ginji-san) swoops down from above, firmly grabs him, and carries him to the clinic. Please pay attention to the story development, which, with the duo's exceptional sense of rhythm and dynamic worldview, seems to inspire the courage to take a step forward.

Ginji's "Tailwind~!" and beautiful voice echo throughout the studio!

Pay attention to Kobashi's powerful acting! Focus on Don de Corte's perfectly synchronized banter!

On the day of the shoot, Kobashi-san appeared in his usual suit. In contrast, Ginji-san, unlike his usual suit, sported a cute "kaze-dori headband" on his head.

First, Ginji-san, playing the kaze-dori, delivered a passionate performance in front of the camera while wearing the headband. His lines, "Tailwind~!” and “East!”, were delivered with a beautiful voice that resonated throughout the studio, captivating the staff. Meanwhile, Kobashi-san, who was challenged with a scene of being exposed to the wind, gave a powerful performance reacting as if he were about to be blown away by the strong gusts. Laughter and cheers erupted from the set each time his incredibly realistic acting was displayed, and the shoot proceeded in a consistently relaxed atmosphere.

During the actual takes, the duo also showcased their well-coordinated banter, and their gazes as they watched each other's performances, as well as their words, revealed a deep trust and closeness between them. After the wrap-up, the staff surprised them with a bouquet of flowers, making it a warm and laughter-filled shooting day.

Commercial Interview

Q1. What are your thoughts on being appointed as ambassadors?

Ginji-san: "I don't think there's any other duo that surpasses us. I don't think there's a more suitable duo than us. We hold all five letters of the alphabet. I have A, G, and A, and he (Kobashi-san) has E and D."

Kobashi-san: "Don't say too much. You don't have to say it."

Q2. Please share an episode where you "regained your confidence as a man."

Ginji-san: "I live in a house called 'Masumasu-so' where the person who eats the most is the most important. When I thought I couldn't eat anymore, I slept for an hour and was able to eat again. At that moment, I really thought, 'You're good, me!'"

Q3. Please share an episode where you felt a tailwind.

Kobashi-san: "This is a personal story, but when I feel a tailwind, my train transfers go incredibly smoothly. I can catch trains more smoothly than before. I often get on the train just before the one I looked up. This is definitely a tailwind."

Ginji-san: "Some people might call what I consider a sham a tailwind. People say we have momentum right now, but I personally consider it a sham. However, I suppose that's what people generally call a tailwind."

Q4. Please name a fellow comedian you'd like to regain confidence.

Ginji-san: "That would be me over the last 10 years. Rather than regaining it, it's almost become my identity not to have it, but I do remember having confidence in the past."

Kobashi-san: "For me, it's Masuda-san from Kageyama. He's too focused on his partner Nabe-san (Ginji-san) on the Masumasu-so YouTube channel. I'm sure it's proof that he lacks confidence as a comedian. His intention to make money through Ginji on the Masumasu-so YouTube is too obvious, so I hope he regains his confidence as a comedian and works harder."

Q5. Please give a message to our viewers.

Ginji-san: "In this commercial, I delivered a powerful message, but ultimately, let's take it easy. Trying to solve everything at once is a high hurdle, so let's take it step by step."

Kobashi-san: "Since I'm from Okinawa, I feel like 'Nankurunaisa' (everything will be alright). Since there's East Ekimae Clinic, I want to send a message that we should rely on those we can rely on."
