Kanagawa Prefectural Hall (managed by: Kanagawa Arts and Culture Foundation) is holding various events in cultural facilities and public spaces across all 33 municipalities in Kanagawa Prefecture while Kanagawa Prefectural Hall is closed. This year, we will deliver "heart-pounding moments" into daily life with a selection of diverse genres such as classical music like opera, traditional Japanese music, jazz, and photo exhibitions.
The summer family concert presented by the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, a professional orchestra that Kanagawa Prefecture is proud of. Following last year's success, it has been decided to hold it again this year!
This year, genius young pianist Kaoru Amano, who has won top prizes in numerous domestic and international competitions, began performing at the age of 9, and last year won 3rd place and the Audience Award in the piano division of the Sendai International Music Competition as a 6th grader, will appear.

In the first half of the program, Kaoru Amano will perform masterpieces such as Mozart's "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star Variations" and "Piano Concerto No. 17" in collaboration with solo piano and orchestra. Through talks, she will not only explore the charm of the works but also reveal the true face of the popular pianist.
The second half will feature a fun instrument introduction set to "Anpanman's March," followed by masterpieces of glamorous opera and ballet such as Bizet's "Carmen" and Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake."
