The Yokohama Archives of History signed a memorandum of understanding with Yokohama University of Commerce on June 2, 2025, to implement a project for students to disseminate information about cultural tourism.

As a result of this project, we are pleased to announce the completion of a picture book introducing the 'Tamakusu Tree,' the symbolic tree of the Port of Yokohama's opening.

**About the distribution of the picture book:** Starting Wednesday, April 1st, the book will be available at the Yokohama Archives of History Museum Shop & Café, PORTER'S LODGE. It will be given to those who request it or purchase items related to the 'Tamakusu Tree.' We also plan to donate it to kindergartens and nursery schools in Naka-ku, Yokohama, and distribute it to event participants.
