The Yokohama Archives of History signed a memorandum with Yokohama University of Commerce on June 2, 2025, to implement a project for students to disseminate information on cultural tourism.

As a result of this project, we are pleased to announce the completion of a picture book introducing the "Tamakusu Tree," the symbolic tree of the opening of the Port of Yokohama.

**About the Picture Book's Distribution**

Starting Wednesday, April 1st, the book will be given to those who request it or purchase related products at the Yokohama Archives of History Museum Shop & Café PORTER'S LODGE. Additionally, there are plans to donate the book to kindergartens and nursery schools within Yokohama's Naka Ward and distribute it to event attendees.
