Nagiya Mori (Honda), who competed in the Men's 5000m at the Tokyo 2025 World Athletics, has decided to participate in the 3000m, and Mikuni Yada (Edion), a Japanese representative for the Women's 10000m, will also participate in the 3000m. Additionally, Nozomi Tanaka (Toyota Industries Corporation), who was entered in the Women's 3000m for this tournament, has additionally decided to participate in the Women's 1500m.
