【Seiko Golden Grand Prix 2026】Athlete Information, 6th Announcement

The next chapter begins at the National Stadium, where 620,000 people were captivated.

We are pleased to announce the 6th wave of participating athlete information for the "Seiko Golden Grand Prix Athletics 2026 Tokyo (hereinafter, Seiko GGP)" to be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at MUFG Stadium (National Stadium)!

In the additional announcement of domestic athletes, participants for the women's and men's javelin throw have been confirmed. In the women's javelin throw, Marina Saito (Suzuki), a Paris 2024 Olympic representative, and Yuki Yamamoto (Takada Kogyosho), who won the Japan Grand Prix Series Oda Mikio Memorial International Athletics Meet held in Hiroshima on April 29th with a throw of 61m45, surpassing the Asian Games dispatch standard, are confirmed to participate.

Wherever you look, world-class performances will unfold at the National Stadium. There is an excitement and tension that can only be felt by watching live. We sincerely look forward to your visit!
