[Okayama] Productivity Improvement Seminar on "On-site Improvement and DX" by a Productivity Improvement Specialist to Overcome Labor Shortages and Analog Operations to be Held on July 24!

The Okayama Prefecture Industrial Promotion Foundation (Okayama Prefecture Yorozu Support Center Productivity Improvement Support Center) will hold the "On-site Improvement and DX Implementation Seminar" on July 24, Reiwa 8 (2026), to promote productivity improvement initiatives for small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses struggling with severe labor shortages and stagnant analog operations.

Amidst worsening labor shortages and soaring prices, "productivity improvement" has become the top priority for small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses. This seminar will feature Mr. Tomo Yasu Matsu, who has extensive experience at Toyota Motor Corporation and currently serves as a productivity improvement advisor for the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation (SME Support, Japan).

The seminar is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses who "don't know where to start," as well as support organizations and financial institutions that regularly interact with businesses facing such challenges. Mr. Yasu Matsu will explain the steps for eliminating waste on-site and smoothly advancing digitalization, with concrete examples of initiatives.

About the Okayama Prefecture Yorozu Support Center Productivity Improvement Support Center

Established on April 1, Reiwa 8 (2026), within the "Okayama Prefecture Yorozu Support Center," a free business consultation service established by the national government. It supports the productivity improvement efforts of small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses. For challenges such as labor shortages, operational efficiency, and digitalization, specialists (supporters) are dispatched to the site multiple times free of charge to provide support from proposal to execution of improvement measures.
