[Bizcon OSAKA 2026] Call for Business Plans to Solve Social Issues

Osaka City and the Osaka Business Development Agency are organizing a business plan contest to support entrepreneurs who are creating new value. The contest aims to promote further business growth by providing opportunities for business PR and facilitating sales channel development.

In addition to in-person viewing, this contest will feature live streaming and subsequent video distribution. This provides a great opportunity to share businesses with many people regardless of time or location.

Past participants have reported an increase in inquiries after participating, and improved PR capabilities during sales efforts upon winning. Challenging Bizcon OSAKA is a significant step toward moving to the next stage by broadly communicating the strengths of your business plan. Seize this chance for business growth.

The final presentation will include business presentations by participants and a talk session featuring past winners. Furthermore, starting this year, certificates of commendation will be presented in the name of the Mayor of Osaka for business plans presented at the final, supporting those who are planning to start a business in Osaka or those challenging themselves to grow their businesses.

Overview of Business Plan Call
- Submission Deadline: August 6, 2026 (Thursday) by 13:00.

- Eligibility Requirements:
Must meet all of the following conditions:
1. First-time entrepreneurs planning to start a business within 6 months, or those who have been in business for less than 5 years.
2. Small and medium-sized enterprises as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Credit Insurance Act, or individuals.
3. Business activities related to the submitted plan must be conducted within Osaka City.

- Awards and Benefits:
Winner: 500,000 JPY
Runner-up: 200,000 JPY
Amashin Award: 300,000 JPY
Osaka Business Development Agency Award: Free pass for seminars.
Cooperating Organization Awards: One year of business support (Naniwa Akindo Juku Doyukai, Osaka City Industrial Management Association, Osaka City Female Entrepreneurs Information Exchange Association).

Presentation Review: September 1, 2026 (Tue) or September 2, 2026 (Wed)
Group Training: September 15, 2026 (Tue)
Final Presentation: October 27, 2026 (Tue) at the Osaka Business Development Agency.
