The Nippon Ham Foundation for Food and Future (Office: Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Director: Kiyoshi Iwama) will hold the "12th Food Allergy-Friendly Meal Cooking Contest 2026" (Organizer: Nippon Ham Foundation for Food and Future, Supporters: Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Consumer Affairs Agency, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Operational Cooperation: Nippon Eiyo University Publishing Department). Recipe submissions will begin on July 1 (Wed).

Purpose of the Food Allergy-Friendly Meal Cooking Contest
The "Food Allergy-Friendly Meal Cooking Contest" aims to widely disseminate your past experiences and practices to those who are dealing with food allergies. Furthermore, it is imbued with the desire that "everyone should feel the joy of eating." To date, a total of 7,453 idea recipes have been submitted over the past 11 contests.
About Our Foundation
The "Act on Promotion of Allergy Disease Control" was enacted on December 25, 2015, and public interest in food allergies and their countermeasures is growing. However, the quality of life for individuals with these conditions has not yet seen significant improvement.
Our foundation was established in January 2015 by Nippon Ham, Ltd. with the strong desire to accelerate food allergy countermeasures and ensure that "everyone can feel the joy of eating." In April 2017, we received certification as a public interest incorporated foundation from the Prime Minister.

Application Requirements
Recipes that do not use any of the 9 specified raw ingredients "egg, milk, wheat, walnuts," or use substitutes for them.
Recipes of any genre are welcome.
Judging Criteria
Ease of preparation, Taste, Novelty, Understanding of food allergy labeling
Prizes
Grand Prize: ¥100,000 worth
Excellence Award: ¥50,000 worth
Judges' Special Award: ¥30,000 worth
