Luxurious performances by top artists from Japan and abroad will be featured, including the "Chamber Music Garden" chamber music festival celebrating its 15th anniversary (June 5-20, 24 performances in total), a revival of Suntory Hall's completely original work, the critically acclaimed Hall Opera® Tan Dun: "TEA - A Mirror of Soul" after 20 years (July 3 & 4), the contemporary festival "Summer Festival" continuing since 1987 (August 22-30, 7 performances in total), the main anniversary event, the "40th Anniversary Gala Concert" (October 31 & November 1), and the "Vienna Philharmonic Week in Japan 2026" conducted by maestro Riccardo Muti, who celebrates his 85th birthday. Furthermore, Japan's first regular orchestral concert series for children, "Kodomo Teiki Enso-kai (Children's Regular Concerts)," will reach its 100th performance in December 2026. This year also marks a new developmental start, focusing on nurturing next-generation performers, centered around the "Suntory Hall Academy (Opera & Chamber Music)."
