Peace Boat Disaster Relief Center (PBV) was established in April 2011 following the Great East Japan Earthquake, based on the philosophy that 'people are the best support for people.' Since then, PBV has focused its activities on 'domestic and international disaster relief' and 'disaster prevention and mitigation initiatives.' To date, the organization has conducted relief operations in 31 countries and 87 regions across Japan, coordinating a cumulative total of over 110,000 volunteers. Building on this extensive experience, PBV also conducts various disaster prevention and mitigation activities during non-emergency periods.

Today, PBV is officially opening recruitment for 'Support Staff' members who can act as core responders when disasters occur. By registering and training in advance, these staff members will be prepared to provide high-quality support immediately after a disaster strikes.
