On Friday, April 24, two families with children suffering from intractable diseases arrived at Hotel Emisia Sapporo. From the moment of check-in, the hotel staff, including not only the dedicated team but also the head chef and front desk staff, collectively welcomed the two families.
Afterward, with the cooperation of Secoma Co., Ltd., they visited a Seicomart store. Ms. Kayo Endo and Mr. Masakazu Komatsu of the Public Relations Department courteously introduced the company's community-rooted initiatives, such as the origin of the name 'Seicomart' and original products made with Hokkaido-produced ingredients. The children's eyes sparkled at the sight of the freshly prepared warm original products in the store, which has its own kitchen.

Guided by Mr. Takao Ikeda, Assistant Manager of the Sales Department and Curator at the Hokkaido Historical Culture Foundation, they delved into Hokkaido's life nearly 100 years ago. Visiting relocated and preserved buildings from various parts of Hokkaido, such as a newspaper office, sake brewery, post office, and Aizomeya (indigo dye shop), they enjoyed work experiences like printing, indigo dyeing, and straw crafting, as well as old-fashioned games like spinning tops and stilts.
