The Ginza-dori Federation (General Incorporated Association) will hold the Ginza summer festival "Yukata de Ginbura 2026" on Saturday, August 1, 2026. This event began in 2007 as part of the "Holiday Promenade" commemorating the pedestrian paradise, and this year marks its 20th edition. Following last year's success, the popular O-Ginza Bon Odori dance will return, and food stalls offering the tastes of famous Ginza establishments will appear on Ginza-dori. The event will feature a variety of activities for both adults and children, including uchimizu (water sprinkling), a performance by Dengakuza, and kids' experience corners. Various events will be held along Ginza-dori from 1-chome to 8-chome, including a performance by Dengakuza, uchimizu, and a kids' space. There will be tie-up projects with commercial facilities and department stores in the Ginza area, and many stores in Ginza will participate as "Omotenashi Stores." Services offering benefits to visitors who meet certain conditions, such as wearing a yukata, will also be provided.
