It is a project aimed at high school students living in and around Kashima City, involving 'PR activities that discover and broadcast the charm of Kashima City to increase its fans'.
Based on feedback from last year's participants, we have updated the activities to focus on two main areas: 'Charm Broadcast' and 'Regional Co-creation'.

- Charm Broadcast
Broadcasting the charms of Kashima discovered by the students themselves through planning and design.
- Regional Co-creation
Thinking about, proposing, and producing PR materials and plans based on requests and consultations from the city hall and the local community.

## Activity Contents
Adults, including local companies and professional creators, will support the high school students' activities as supporters.
- Learning Phase
Learn the basics of PR and design, and tips on gathering information and broadcasting in a workshop format.
- Practical Phase
Plan and produce SNS posts and PR materials.
The activities will alternate between the learning phase and the practical phase, so even beginners can challenge themselves with peace of mind. We will proceed while receiving feedback during the planning and production stages.

## Application Guidelines
- Eligible Participants: Interested high school students living in Kashima City and surrounding areas.
- Capacity: Around 15 students *Selection will take place if there are many applicants.
- Activity Period: June 2026 to March 2027 (Full-scale activities from June to December).
- Participation Fee: Free *Participants are responsible for expenses such as transportation.

The city celebrated the 70th anniversary of its municipalization on April 1, 2024. Taking advantage of its land rich in nature, many agricultural products such as rice and mandarin oranges are produced. Also, seaweed aquaculture is thriving in the Ariake Sea. It is also called 'the town where the world's best sake was born', and there are still 6 sake breweries (5 sake brewing companies) in the city that continue brewing. Prompted by the 70th anniversary of municipalization, we are promoting initiatives to foster civic pride. Through this project, we hope that the younger generation will become interested in Kashima City, broadcast its charm, and become Kashima fans, thereby increasing the exchange population and active population, leading to the creation of a lively town and the revitalization of the community.
