Iga City will subsidize a portion of accommodation costs for organizations holding sports training camps or various competitions that involve overnight stays within the city. We encourage you to hold your sports training camps and competitions in Iga City! Excellent facilities and abundant nature await you.

Eligibility

(1) The organization must be located outside of Iga City.

(2) The sports training camp, etc., must be held within Iga City.

(3) The total number of overnight stays (meaning the sum of the number of nights stayed by each participant in the sports training camp, etc.) at accommodation facilities within the city must be 5 person-nights or more.

(4) The activity must not be for the purpose of profit.

(5) The organization must disseminate information about their sports training camp, etc., in Iga City using their website, social media, or other platforms.

* Organizations receiving subsidies from national, prefectural, or other local governments are not eligible.

Eligible Expenses

Expenses related to accommodation for athletes, coaches, etc., among the expenses required for sports training camps, etc.

Subsidy Amount

Total number of overnight stays × ¥2,000 (Maximum of ¥200,000 per organization per sports training camp, etc.)

* However, if the subsidy amount exceeds the amount of eligible expenses, the subsidy amount will be limited to the amount of eligible expenses.
