Sendai City is currently accepting project proposals through its 'Sendai City Citizen Collaboration Project Proposal System,' which aims to solve regional challenges by collaborating with citizens and organizations.
We welcome collaborative proposals that leverage the expertise and networks of citizen groups, neighborhood associations, companies, and other entities!

1. Application Period
Until July 22 (Wednesday)
2. Eligible Organizations
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have an office and activity base within Sendai City - Be an organization composed of at least five members - Have been continuously active for more than one year

3. Eligible Projects
Proposed projects must meet all of the following conditions:
- Be public-interest or socially contributive initiatives that help resolve local issues - Demonstrate clear, expected outcomes through collaboration between the city and the proposing organization - Feature clearly defined and appropriate role-sharing, with potential for synergistic effects - Involve innovative, pioneering, or unique approaches - Include a sound project plan and realistic budget estimates

Open theme (any topic or field is acceptable)
5. Funding Amount
Up to 3 million JPY per project
※ Proposing organizations are also required to contribute financially
※ Selection will be made within the available budget
6. Application Procedure
(1) Pre-application Consultation (Mandatory)
City officials and staff from the Citizen Activity Support Center will provide consultation on your project proposal. Please note that proposals will not be accepted without prior consultation.
① Period: June 15 (Monday) to July 15 (Wednesday)
② Registration: Apply via the designated form (listed in the guidelines) at least four business days before your desired consultation date (excluding weekends and public holidays).
(2) Submission of Proposal Documents
After completing the consultation, submit the required proposal documents and attachments by mail or in person to the Division for Promotion of Citizen Collaboration during the application period.
