Expressing Gratitude for 140,000 Donations in Tokyo: Imabari City, Which Achieved a Record 3.6 Billion Yen, Hosts 'Towel Exhibition in Aoyama'

Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, in collaboration with Imabari Akinai Shosha, is hosting the 'Towel Exhibition in Aoyama' in Omotesando, Tokyo. This event aims to express gratitude for the record-breaking 3.6 billion yen (139,353 donations) collected through hometown tax donations in the 2025 fiscal year, while expanding Imabari’s brand awareness.

From June 5th to 21st, nine Imabari towel manufacturers will rotate weekly, offering exhibits, games, and sales. Imabari Akinai Shosha is focused on visualizing the contribution of these funds to urban development and strengthening storytelling that connects the production area with supporters.
