Details for "Music Fusion in Kyoto Music Festival" have been decided.

Tickets for chamber music concerts will go on sale starting July 11.

Target Audience: Children residing or attending school in Kyoto Prefecture and their guardians.

Participation: Application required, first-come, first-served basis <Application Period: September 1 (Tue) - October 4 (Sun)>

*Participation is free. Lunch (BBQ) is required separately (Adults (junior high school age and older) 4,000 yen, Children (elementary school age) 2,000 yen (tax included for both) / Preschoolers may share adult meals (free)).

*Lunch fees are payable in cash at the reception on the day of the event.

Brass Quintet Concert for Everyone to Enjoy

Date: November 28, 2026 (Sat) 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Venue: Yodo River Confluence Sakura Deai Kan Event Plaza "Yodo"

(In front of Jōōji, Yawata, Yawata City)

Target Audience: Children residing or attending school in Kyoto Prefecture and their guardians.

Participation: Application required, first-come, first-served basis <Application starts September 1 (Tue)>

(4) School Visits

Appreciation and experience-based performances and instruction by musicians visiting elementary schools, junior high schools, and special needs schools in the prefecture.

(Scheduled for a total of 10 schools. Details will be announced once confirmed.)

5. Spin-off Project "Brass Jamboree in Kyoto 2026 II" Seeking Performers!

We are recruiting performers for a participatory instrument ensemble event where wind and percussion instrument players from all over the prefecture gather to enjoy playing together in a large ensemble.

(1) Date: October 10, 2026 (Sat) 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM (Concert starts 4:15 PM)

Venue: Yamashiro General Sports Park (Taiyogaoka) Main Arena (8 Kengyadani, Hirono, Uji City)

Target Audience: Those residing, attending school, or working in Kyoto Prefecture (preschoolers not allowed), with experience in wind or percussion instruments and who own an instrument (large percussion instruments will be lent).

Participation Fee: General 3,000 yen, High School Students and younger 1,500 yen *An additional fee of approximately 250 yen per piece is required for sheet music purchase.

Capacity: 300 people, first-come, first-served basis <Application Period: July 1 (Wed) 10:00 AM - August 16 (Sun)>
