Since its founding in 1968, our company has operated 10 stores across Nagasaki, Saga, and Fukuoka, offering workwear, safety shoes, tools, and related items through retail, corporate sales, and online platforms. Driven by our mission to deliver 'delight and satisfaction to our customers,' we have co-developed a high-performance business suit with Toray Industries, Inc. and TS DESIGN Co., Ltd., leveraging the functional expertise gained from workwear development. This new product utilizes a specially engineered fabric that combines breathability, lightness, stretchability, and durability, making it a comfortable business attire even under extreme summer heat. This product is exclusively available through Kyushu Work Co., Ltd. and Cross Worker stores, making it a unique collaborative item unavailable elsewhere.

・Background of the New Material Development

In recent years, rising temperatures have led to a shift in summer workwear: instead of long-sleeved shirts and long pants, many workers now opt for short sleeves, half-pants, and lightweight innerwear. However, this trend has raised concerns regarding durability and safety. In response, and driven by the desire to 'provide safer, cooler, and more comfortable workwear,' our company president initiated the joint development with Toray Industries, Inc. of a high-performance fabric named 'Shamiran Bio Light Fix.' The first product line using this fabric—workwear—has already gained strong market support for successfully combining high breathability with excellent strength.

Following this success, we identified a new challenge: professionals who move between job sites and offices, such as sales personnel, also need similar comfort in formal attire. Traditional suits often cause discomfort due to heat and restricted movement, posing a significant burden, especially for those with outdoor duties. Therefore, we applied the cooling and safety technologies honed through workwear development to create a suit suitable for business settings—resulting in the launch of this innovative product.
