While traditional Furusato Nozei primarily focused on "goods" as return gifts, Nakashibetsu Town aims to promote "experience-based" consumption by those who actually visit the town or stores handling its specialty products, thereby creating a "related population" and directly revitalizing the local economy.
"Furusato Oen Nozei®" and "Atokara Furusato Oen Nozei®"
This service, provided by DMC aizu Co., Ltd., is an innovative system that allows Furusato Nozei donations to be completed in as little as 5 minutes using a smartphone and applied to payments on the spot. You can choose and use the optimal method from the following two options, depending on the donor's needs and the store's format:
Furusato Oen Nozei®
Scan the QR code installed at the store with your smartphone, enter the donation amount, and make a credit card payment. An electronic coupon will be issued immediately. The issued electronic coupon can be used right away for dining or activity expenses.
Atokara Furusato Oen Nozei®
Pay the fee as usual at checkout and receive a receipt and a special card with a QR code. Afterwards, at your convenience, such as while traveling or after returning home, you can upload an image of the receipt from a dedicated website and pay the additional donation amount by credit card, which will then be processed as a Furusato Nozei donation. Since no smartphone operation is required at the store, you can use it with peace of mind even in crowded stores.
About Participating Stores
It will gradually become available at participating stores, including accommodations and restaurants within the town, as well as stores nationwide that handle Nakashibetsu Town's specialty products.
