Suspected Food Poisoning at Qingliu Cafeteria; Taipei Prosecutors Investigate Under Food Safety Act

The New Taipei City Government Health Bureau issued a press release today stating that regarding the suspected food poisoning case at "Qingliu Cafeteria" in Xindian District, the Xindian Cardinal Tien Hospital and Taipei Tzu Chi Hospital, which admitted patients yesterday, preliminarily detected 11 cases positive for Salmonella. Further analysis by the hospitals confirmed it as Salmonella group D. After receiving the relevant information transferred by the New Taipei City Health Bureau, the Taipei District Prosecutors Office has initiated an investigation under the "Ta" (other) category.
